You can log in to the back door and write your own blog entry.
- Go to http://als2.web.uproc.lib.mi.us/MyLibrary/administrator and enter your username and password, which you can get from Jessica.
- Go to the "Content" drop-down menu at the top and select "Article Manager."
- Click the "New" button on the upper-right side of the page, it's a green circle with a white plus sign.
- Select "MLML" as the Section and "Blog" as the Category.
- Give your entry a title.
- In the area that looks like a Microsoft Word document, you can write your blog entry.
- While you work, you can save it by clicking "Apply" in the upper-right corner. When you're done working, you can click "Save" to save and exit the "Article: [Edit]" screen.
- You can add tags to your blog entry by clicking "Metadata Information" to the right of the screen, and entering information in the "Keywords" section. Separate multiple tags with a comma and a space. These appear below the blog entry.
- You can preview your work by clicking "Preview."
You can post comments to the blog entries from the normal view of the web site. Just click "Read # Comments" below the blog entry, and a new page will load with sections you can fill out. Click "Submit Comment" when you're done.
